Replacement of the existing DN700 Ductile Iron main outlet conduit at Melton reservoir Vic with a new DN900 Mild Steel Cement Lined (MSCL) outlet conduit, as the existing conduit had exceed its design life.
This project presented many demolition, installation and access challenges in that the works were to be executed within a 1500mm diameter concrete tunnel penetrating 70 Mts into the main dam embankment. Uptime also managed the civil, pressure grouting and electrical contractors delivering the project two weeks ahead of program and within budget.
