Fabrication, paint, delivery, installation and adjustment of new side panels and removal of existing side panels at various regulators over a 4-year period on the Mulwala canal.
The side panels manufacturing tolerances were very tight as the flatness of the panels was critical in the regulator gate sealing performance and therefore the flow control of the water through the canal. The sealing of the regulator gates against the side panels through the full range of movement was critical during installation.
