Customer: Central Highland Water
The wastewater pumping station required upgrading to meet current and future flow requirements. This included a wide range of flows with significant delivery heads at peak flow conditions.
This required replacement of all mechanical and electrical equipment including a significant upgrade in submersible pump capability within the station incorporating a significant increase in size and power supply requirements. Provision of standby generation and remediation to the pumping station structure were also required.
The pump station remained in full service throughout the refurbishment works by way of an established and proven by-pass pumping system
